Dhanlaxmi Engineering

Our shop, Dhanlaxmi Engineering, is located right in Phase-1 of the GIDC at Plot No. 13/1. If you know this area, you know it is busy and a bit crowded with trucks and noise all day long. We have been working out of this space for some time, and it has served us well. The floors are stained with oil, and the tools are worn from use, which is exactly how an engineering workshop should look in my opinion. We handle a lot of different jobs that come through the door. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, and other days we are stuck on a complicated part for a week. We don't have a front desk person or anything like that. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see someone hunched over a machine or moving heavy parts around. We keep our head down and do the work. The traffic around the GIDC can be a real headache in the afternoons, but being centrally located in Phase-1 helps us stay connected to the other suppliers nearby. It’s a practical place for practical work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just use our hands and the equipment we've got. It’s not always pretty, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the machines work fine, and that is what actually matters for the output we send out to people.
