H. P. Valves ( P ) Ltd.

We operate out of S/2 in Abhishek Estate, which is in the Haripura area of Asarwa. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and small factories. There is a constant hum of machinery in the air here that you just get used to after a week or two on the job. At H. P. Valves, we focus on making valves for different kinds of piping systems used in industrial plants. Our floor is filled with lathes and metal-cutting machines that have seen a lot of use over the years. It’s a noisy place, and there’s always the smell of oil and freshly cut steel in the air. We have a crew of machinists who have been doing this for years; they can tell if a machine is running right just by the sound it makes during the day. We don't have a fancy showroom or a plush office with carpets. Our office is really just a desk tucked into a corner where we keep the logs and customer orders. We spend most of our time on the shop floor making sure the dimensions are exactly right. People come to us when they need a specific type of valve that won't leak under pressure. We don't do a lot of talking; we just get the specs and start the machines. The roads in Asarwa can be a bit tight, especially when the big delivery trucks come through Abhishek Estate. We've been here long enough that we know all the other shop owners on the block.
