Priyank Engineering

Priyank Engineering is located at Survey No. 1051/a, just behind Kothiya Gam on the Kothiya Kuha Road. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but we like the space we have. It’s a mix of fields and small workshops around us. We started small with just a couple of lathes and a lot of hope. Now we have a few more machines and a handful of people helping out. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the afternoon. We do a lot of custom work for local farmers and other small businesses nearby. If something breaks on a tractor or a pump, they bring it to us. It’s not always clean work. Our hands are usually stained with grease by ten in the morning. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you'll probably find us hunched over a machine or checking a drawing on a piece of cardboard. We have had to deal with some power cuts over the years, which can be frustrating when you are in the middle of a precise cut. But we just wait for the generator to kick in and keep going. It’s a quiet life out here on the road to Kuha. We know most of our neighbors and we help each other out when someone’s truck won't start. It’s how things are done in this part of the world. We don't mind the distance or the dust.
