If you head down Punit Railway Crossing Road and look near the Bombay Conductor, you’ll find us. Ganesh Engineering Co. is tucked away in Kamal Estate, right across from Sameer Hotel at Plot No. 104. It's a busy corner of the GIDC. We’ve been doing engineering work here for a while. The shop is usually full of metal scraps and the smell of cutting oil. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find someone in overalls. We handle a lot of local repairs and small-scale manufacturing. It’s the kind of place where we solve problems as they come up. Some days it’s hectic with the trains passing nearby and the trucks loading up, but we’re used to it. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because someone else told them we could fix a broken shaft or mill a specific piece. We just try to be honest about how long a job will take. It’s not a high-tech lab, just a hardworking machine shop. We’ve got a couple of lathes and some old drills that still work better than the new stuff. Life at Plot 104 is simple. We work hard, go home, and come back to do it again. It’s been that way since we opened the doors here. The traffic outside can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we just stay late and finish the welding.
