Wok On Fire

You can find us over at Aeon Complex on the ground floor. We are right at Vijay Cross Roads, basically across the street from Navkar Institute. It’s a pretty active part of Navrangpura. We have been operating out of G-1 for some time now. The shop isn't huge, but it gets the job done for what we need. We spend most of our time standing behind the stoves. Ahmedabad weather gets really hot in the summer, so the kitchen stays warm, but we're used to it. Most of our regulars are students or people working in the nearby shops. It’s nice seeing people come back day after day. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. People just walk in or call us up when they want something to eat. Sometimes the intersection outside gets really jammed with cars, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we manage. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the orders go out. There's always a lot of chopping and prep work to do before we open the doors. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets a bit chaotic during the dinner rush. It’s just a regular local business. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We just stay here in Navrangpura and keep the fire going in the kitchen every single day. It’s what we know how to do.
