West African Ceramics

We've been around Bopal for a while now. The shop is right behind the Bopal Grampanchayat. It's a busy spot but we like it here. People come in looking for tiles or something for their bathroom. Most days it's just about showing what's in stock. Ceramics can be tricky because things break or colors don't match what someone saw online. We try to keep things organized at 3 Krishnadham Row House. It's not a huge showroom, but we fit a lot in. Sometimes the traffic in Ahmedabad gets bad, so we're glad to be tucked away a bit. My desk is usually covered in papers. We handle a lot of different styles. Some people want the basic white stuff, others want patterns. We just show them what we have on the shelves. It's a regular business. Nothing too fancy. If someone needs a few boxes for a kitchen floor, they stop by. We talk about the sizes and the finish. It’s mostly just making sure the right boxes get onto the right truck. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. That's how most afternoons go here. We've seen the area change a lot over the years. More houses popping up everywhere. It keeps us busy enough. We just stay focused on the inventory and making sure the shop stays open on time. We don't have a website that works all the time, so most people just call or walk in.
