Shree Umiya Tiles Factory

Shree Umiya Tiles Factory is located at Plot No. 75 in the Uday Estate. We are right near Adinathnagar and basically across from the Odhav Police Station in the Odhav Industrial Estate. It’s easy to find because of the police station landmark. The factory is a place where there is always a bit of dust in the air because of the clay and materials used for making tiles. We have big machines that press the tiles and ovens that bake them. It’s a lot of heavy work moving the finished stacks around. We have tiles leaning against almost every wall in the yard. Sometimes customers come by to see the patterns or just to pick up a few boxes for a repair job. The area is always buzzing with activity since it’s a big industrial zone. We hear the sirens from the police station every now and then. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like being in the middle of things in Odhav. The office is just a small cabin near the front gate where we keep the ledgers. We don't spend much time on decorations. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor checking the machines. It’s just a normal factory life, making tiles day in and day out. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we manage to keep things going.
