You can find us on the third floor of Yogi Complex, which is at number 7. It’s right across the street from where the old Drive In Cinema is on Drive In Road. Being on the third floor means we have a bit of a view of the traffic below us. Akash Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. has been in this complex for a good while. The office is basically a long room filled with samples of tiles and different ceramic pieces. They are stacked against the walls and under the tables. It’s not the neatest place you will ever see, but it shows what we do. The elevator in the complex can be a bit slow or out of order. We often end up taking the stairs. Drive In Road is always buzzing with energy. There are plenty of food stalls nearby where we grab lunch. Inside the office, the lighting is a bit dim, but it’s enough to see the patterns on the ceramics. We have a few old computers and a printer that jams every now and then. We spend most of our time talking to contractors or checking on our orders. It’s a very hands-on business. There’s always a layer of dust on the shelves from the ceramic samples, no matter how much we clean it. We aren’t trying to be a fancy showroom. We just provide a place for people to come and see the materials for themselves.
