Our office for Sakar Glazed Tiles is up on the 4th floor of Shefali Centre. If you know the Paldi area, you probably know where that is. It’s a pretty central location, which makes it easier for the trucks and the staff to get around. We have been working with tiles for a long time. It’s heavy work and the samples take up a lot of room. Sometimes the office feels a bit crowded with all the different patterns and boxes lying around. We try to keep it organized, but when a big shipment comes in, things get messy for a few days. That is just how it goes in this business. We have a small team here. Most of us have been with the company for years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to the factory or checking on deliveries. The 4th floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, which is nice when you need a break from looking at computer screens. The elevator in Shefali Centre is old and sometimes it makes a funny noise, but it usually gets us where we need to go. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just sell tiles and try to make sure they get to the right place on time. It’s a straightforward job that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
