M K Tiles Stone Industries

M K Tiles Stone Industries is set up over at Plot No. 46/1. We are right opposite Mangal Estate in Phase-1 2 of the GIDC area. It’s a busy part of the industrial zone, so there's always something going on nearby. We work with both tiles and stone, which means there’s a lot of cutting and polishing happening throughout the day. The sound of the saws is something you just get used to after a while. Our clothes are usually covered in a fine layer of stone dust by the time we leave. It’s a practical workspace, not a place for suits or fancy talk. We handle the heavy stuff that people need for building houses or shops. Sometimes we get a delivery that’s running late and we have to stay a bit longer to get it unloaded. The neighbors at Mangal Estate are good people, and we often share a quick meal or a cup of tea near the gate. The yard is usually full of slabs of stone waiting to be processed. It’s hard on the hands, and we go through a lot of work gloves every single month. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our spot here in GIDC. People find us because we've been here and we do the work. It's a bit messy with all the stone offcuts, but it's a working yard. That's just how the stone business is for us, day after day.
