Akshar Marble Granite

Our yard, Akshar Marble Granite, is situated on Dahegam Road, right near the HP petrol pump. It’s a big open space where we keep all the slabs of stone. You can’t miss it if you’re driving by. We spend our days out in the sun mostly, moving heavy pieces of marble and granite around for customers. It’s hard on the back and your hands get rough, but we like the work. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned showroom. Instead, we show people the actual slabs leaning against the walls. Some are from nearby and some come from further away. Every piece has its own patterns and cracks, and we try to show them honestly. We aren't into big marketing talk or trying to push people into buying the most expensive thing. We just tell them what’s what and let them decide. The dust from cutting stone gets everywhere, so don’t expect a clean office if you visit. We’re just a small crew working with stone. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen the road get busier over time. It’s a steady job, and we take pride in getting the pieces loaded up safely for the trip to someone’s new house. It’s heavy work but there is something nice about seeing the final slabs ready to go out to the customers. We just keep our heads down and handle one piece of stone at a time.
