Voltas Ltd

You can find us over in Ghodasar, near the Cadila Crossing. We are part of the Punitnagar Society, specifically at C/130. Ahmedabad is a hot place, and the dust from the crossing sometimes drifts in if we leave the windows open too long. Voltas Ltd has this small corner here. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls. It’s a brick-and-mortar place that feels lived in. We have some old desks that have been with us for years and a clock on the wall that’s always two minutes fast. We don’t see any reason to change it. We handle the daily operations and speak with the people who drop by. There’s no fancy jargon used here. We just explain things as they are. If we can help, we do. If something takes time, we say so. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. The society is a nice place to be located. There is always someone walking by or a tea stall nearby where we can grab a quick drink. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and some notes tacked up. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. We’ve been here a while and we plan on staying. It’s home for the business. We keep our heads down and just get the work done as it comes in. No one is here for the spotlight, we just work.
