Visual Cortex Fashion Photography

We are located in Asarwa Chakla, which is where we do all our work for Visual Cortex Fashion Photography. It’s not a huge studio, but it has enough room for our cameras and the lights we use. We spend a lot of time adjusting things, trying to get the shadows right. It's not as glamorous as people think; there is a lot of waiting around and moving heavy equipment. Sometimes the space feels a bit cramped when we have a few people in here, but we make it work. We've been in Asarwa Chakla for a while now and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. It’s got a lot of character, even if it’s a bit messy sometimes. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to take decent pictures that people can use. Most of our day is spent either clicking the camera or sitting at the computer looking at what we shot. It’s a lot of repetitive work, checking focus and colors over and over. We don't really dress up or act like big shots. We’re just regular people who happened to get into photography. Sometimes the equipment breaks or the lights don't work right, and we just have to fix it and keep going. It’s a job like any other, and we’re happy to be doing it here. We just try to be practical and keep the camera clicking until the job is done right.
