Vibha Fluid Systems Engineers Pvt. Ltd. operates out of L-191 in the GIDC Estate in Odhav. Being in Odhav means we are surrounded by industry. It’s a big estate and we have our own corner at L-191. We deal with fluid systems, which basically means a lot of pipes, valves, and pumps. It’s a technical job, but we talk about it in simple terms. We aren't a giant corporation, even if the name sounds a bit formal. We are just a group of people who know how these systems work. The shop floor is where most of the action is. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and putting things together. The GIDC is always humming with noise. We’ve been here for a good number of years. It’s a practical place to have a business. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or glass walls. We spend it on tools and making sure the shop runs right. People come to us because they know where we are. We stay focused on the tasks at hand. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do. The tea stall down the road is where we go every morning before we start. We keep our tools locked up in old metal cabinets that have seen better days. Sometimes the phone rings and it’s just a wrong number. We just laugh and get back to working on the pipes. That’s our day here in Odhav.
