Vegmalhar Restaurant

Vegmalhar Restaurant is located in Saraspur, right inside the Prasiddhi Complex on the ground floor. If you know the area in Ahmedabad, we are directly opposite Ambedkar Hall, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Our address is unit twenty-two, and it’s a pretty straightforward setup inside. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that because we prefer to focus on what’s happening in the kitchen. The Saraspur area is quite old and has a lot of character, and we’ve seen the streets change quite a bit over the years. Every morning we open up and start the prep work, chopping vegetables and getting the stoves going. It gets quite busy during the lunch hour when people from the nearby offices and shops come over. The seating is just basic tables and chairs that we wipe down a hundred times a day. We’ve had the same staff for a bit, so we all know how things run without having to talk about it too much. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery truck is late, but that’s just how it goes running a business in this part of town. We try to keep the prices where they make sense for the neighborhood. It’s a lot of hard work standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. We don't spend money on big ads, we just hope people like the food enough to come back next time they are hungry and in the area.
