Usha Industries is down at Plot No. 5/10/a in Phase-1 of the Gidc. It is one of those older industrial areas where everything is packed in close together. We have been working out of this plot for a good while. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it works for what we need. Inside, it is all about production. We have machines running and people moving parts around. It can get pretty hot in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. Phase-1 is always crowded, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just tell people to find a spot wherever they can. Our day starts early before the heat really kicks in. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. There isn't much talking once the work gets going. We just focus on the tasks. We handle everything right here on the premises. From when the raw stuff comes in to when it goes out the door. It is a basic setup but it has served us well over the years. We don't feel the need for anything more complicated than what we have right now. It's just a regular factory life. Sometimes we get a few stray cats wandering through the plot looking for food. We share our biscuits with them. It’s a simple existence here in the Gidc. We stay till the work is done.
