Dhara Engineers operates out of Kameshwar Estate in Phase 4 of GIDC Vatva. If you’re looking for us, we are at Plot No. 3609. A good way to find the place is to look for the C Doctor & Company or the IBP petrol pump near Neeka Tube Cross Road. It’s a very industrial part of Ahmedabad, so there’s always noise from trucks and other workshops nearby. The roads can get a bit dusty, especially in the summer months. Inside our unit, we focus on engineering tasks. There’s no big reception area or anything like that; it’s mostly just the workspace where the actual jobs get done. We spend most of our time looking at designs or working with the tools. Being in Vatva means we are surrounded by other similar businesses, so it feels like a community of makers and fixers. Sometimes the power fluctuates a bit, but that’s just life in an industrial estate. We’ve been at this location for some time now and have gotten used to the local rhythm. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to finish the work on the floor and make sure things are built right. It’s a practical environment. We have coffee together in the morning and then get straight to the metalwork or whatever is on the schedule for that day. Our workshop door is usually open to let in a bit of a breeze when it gets too stuffy inside.
