Yogi Industries

Yogi Industries is located in the Gidc Vatva area, specifically at 5503/4 Phase 4. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s always noisy and there’s always something being moved. We do a lot of fabrication and metal work here. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots on it. It’s hot near the machines, especially during the summer months. We have a small office tucked in the front, but most of the action is in the back. My father started this, and I’ve been here since I was a teenager. We make parts that go into other machines. It’s not the kind of thing you see in a shop window. We have a lot of heavy tools and some old lathes that still work better than the new ones. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s when everyone takes a break. We don't have a human resources department or a PR person. If there's a problem, we just talk it out on the shop floor. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work. We deal with suppliers near Trikampura Patia all the time. The trucks come and go at all hours. We keep a close eye on the quality of what we produce because our name is on it. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't overcomplicate things. We just show up and run the machines.
