You can find us in Shop No. 4 at Plot No. 174/1, which is right across the road from Mbh Pumps in the GIDC. It’s a small place but we manage to fit a lot of different items onto our shelves. Being a trading business means we are constantly opening boxes and counting stock. I usually have my first cup of tea while looking over the list of things people asked for the day before. The GIDC is always buzzing with activity, so there is usually someone stopping by to ask for a specific tool or a spare part for their workshop. Some days are quite slow and we just chat with the neighbors, while other days we are so busy we forget to eat lunch until late in the afternoon. We have to keep the shop organized because it’s a tight space and things get lost easily if they aren’t put back on the right shelf. Being right opposite the pump shop helps people find us since everyone knows that landmark. We don’t have any big signs or a fancy front, just the goods we sell and a desk where we do the paperwork. Most of our customers are folks who work in the nearby factories and they know they can find us here from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s a simple way to make a living.
