We've been here at GIDC Vatva for a while now. The yard at Plot No. 92, 93, and 94/2/1 is usually pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just how it goes with cement. It’s a busy spot in Phase-1. Most days start early here because the trucks arrive before the sun is really up. We spend a lot of time checking batches and making sure things are moving right. Sometimes the machinery gets a bit stubborn, especially in the heat, but we handle it. People around here know the gates. It’s not a fancy office. We mostly have stacks of bags and heavy equipment sitting around. Dealing with cement means you end up with grey dust on your boots by ten in the morning. We don’t really do much besides focus on the loads going out and the raw materials coming in. It's practical work. My desk is usually covered in delivery slips and tea stains. We keep the site running even when it gets hectic during the monsoon. It’s just us doing the daily grind in this part of Ahmedabad. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up, get the cement ready, and see the trucks off. The neighborhood is full of other plants, so we fit right in. If you're looking for us, look for the big gates near the corner. It's just a regular workplace where we get our hands dirty every single day. We don't worry about being fancy.
