Shree Enterprise

Our little spot is B-1 in the Bhagirath Complex. Narol is a very busy place to have a business these days. There’s always big trucks moving around and people rushing to finish their work. Shree Enterprise isn't a massive company by any means. It’s just us in this small office space. We have a lot of old files and a couple of computers that have seen much better days. Most of the time, I’m on the phone or checking the current stock levels. The complex gets pretty crowded during the middle of the day. You can hear the sounds of the other businesses through the walls sometimes. It’s not exactly quiet, but it’s where we get our things done. We don't have any of those fancy mission statements you see in the big corporate offices. We just show up and handle the orders as they come in. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on, talking about the latest cricket score or the weather. The desk I sit at is a bit wobbly on one side, but it’s been there since we first opened. We know the security guard at the gate and the guy who brings the morning tea in the small cups. It’s a community in a way. Even though it’s just a business, it feels like a second home because we’re here so much of the time. Narol is dusty and loud, but it’s where we belong. We keep our heads down.
