Unikal Textile

Unikal Textile is located in Shop G F 12 at Satyam Plaza. We are right near the Saketu Complex and the D-Mart on the Nikol-Naroda Road in Ahmedabad. Being near New India Colony is great because there are always people around. Our shop is on the ground floor, so you don't have to worry about stairs or elevators. We have a lot of different textiles and fabrics on display. It's a bit of a jumble sometimes because we have so many different types of cloth piled up. We handle both retail and some larger orders for people who are making their own garments. It’s a family business, and we’ve been here since the plaza was relatively new. We don't have a big polished website or a bunch of social media accounts. We prefer it when people come in and actually touch the fabric themselves to see if it's what they want. You can't really tell the quality of a textile from a photo anyway. We spend a lot of time chatting with the other shopkeepers in Satyam Plaza and drinking tea when it's not too busy. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us. We know our regulars and what they usually look for. Sometimes the shop gets a little dusty from all the fabric fibers, but we try to keep it as tidy as we can. If you're in the Nikol-Naroda area, you can just stop by and see what we have.
