Ultratech Concrete

Our office is located at Ram Niwas in Palanpur, right behind the Sarkari Vasahat on Mandir Road. Being on Mandir Road means we hear the temple bells throughout the day, which is actually quite nice compared to just hearing traffic. Becharpura is a decent area, and we have settled into this spot quite well. The office is basically a few rooms where we handle the Ultratech Concrete business for the local region. It’s a very local operation. Most of the people who walk in are either neighbors or contractors we’ve known for years. We don't really do the corporate thing here. We sit, have some water, talk about the project, and get the orders written down. The building is a regular house that has been converted into an office space, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We have some problems with the power cutting out occasionally, so we keep a few torches handy for the late evenings. It’s just the way things go in Palanpur. We focus on getting the concrete to the sites without making a big deal out of it. It’s a simple, honest way to work, and we like being part of the community here on Mandir Road. We usually have a small break in the evening when the cows are being herded back home through the street and the air starts to cool down.
