You can find us at Ultratech Cement Ltd on the 5th floor of the Elicon Tower. We are located at D-10, right across from Shaikh & Co and near the Vishala Chokdi on Sharkhej Road in Juhapura. Being up on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy road below. This office is where we handle the heavy lifting of the paperwork for the cement business. Sharkhej Road is always packed with trucks and cars, so it’s a very active place to be. We spend our hours managing the flow of cement to different parts of Ahmedabad. It’s not a quiet job, as there are always people coming in or calls coming through about orders and stock levels. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a bunch of slogans on the walls. It’s just a working office with desks, computers, and a lot of tea and coffee being drunk to keep us going. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the logistics work and the deliveries are on track. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the shortcuts and the local builders quite well. It’s a straightforward operation. We supply the materials, and the builders do the rest. We just make sure the supply chain stays moving as it should, even when the traffic at Vishala Chokdi is a nightmare. It’s a long day sometimes, but we get through it together as a team.
