The Cooking Culture Classe

We have been operating out of the first floor in the 3rd Eye 2 building for a few years now. It’s right there on Panchwati Cross Road in Ahmedabad. The place isn’t anything too special to look at from the outside, but inside we have set up a decent space for The Cooking Culture Classe. We mostly just teach regular people how to make a few good meals. Sometimes the recipes go well and other times we have to start over because someone used too much chili. That’s just how it is when you’re learning. We have about six or seven stoves and a big table where everyone chops their vegetables. It gets a bit hot in the kitchen when all the burners are going at once, but we have some fans that help a bit. Most of the folks who come here are from the Panchwati area, but we get some people from further away in Ahmedabad too. We don't do any big fancy certifications or anything. It's more about just getting comfortable with the ingredients and the heat. We spend a lot of time talking about where to buy the freshest produce around here. If you’re looking for a professional culinary school, this probably isn't it. But if you want to learn how to make a decent curry or bake some bread, we are usually around.
