Tandoor Palace Restaurant & Caterers

Our place is situated in the Saileela Complex, right near the Airport Circle. It is a busy area because of the hotels like the Trident and the Ummed nearby. Being called Tandoor Palace Restaurant & Caterers sounds a bit grand, but we are actually quite a down-to-earth group. We do both the restaurant service and catering for local events. This means our kitchen is almost always running. If we aren't serving someone at a table, we are probably packing up large containers of food for a party or a function. The space in the complex is decent, but it gets cramped when we have a big catering order to prepare. We have been at this for a while now, and we know the rhythms of the airport traffic. Many of our customers are people waiting for flights or staff from the nearby offices. We don't have a polished way of speaking or a fancy corporate style. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because many of them are. The floor is usually a bit worn from all the walking back and forth. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and getting ready for the next day. It’s a lot of work to manage both the catering side and the walk-in customers, but we have a good system now. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day after day, regardless of how busy the airport gets. It is just a job that we do as a team.
