We operate Swastik Tiles Pvt. Ltd. from the second floor of the Heritage building on S.G. Highway. We are located right near The Grand Bhagwati hotel. It’s a busy part of the highway with a lot of offices and businesses packed together. Our space is mostly taken up by tile samples and desks. We handle the more formal side of the tile business here, dealing with orders and logistics. Even though it says Pvt. Ltd., we are just a group of people working together to keep the business moving. The S.G. Highway area is constantly changing, with new buildings going up all the time. We’ve seen a lot of neighbors come and go over the years. Our office isn't very fancy; it’s a bit cluttered with samples and files, but it’s where we get the real work done. We talk to builders and individuals who are looking for specific types of flooring or wall tiles. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing, and other times it's quiet enough to actually get some filing done. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics. We just show what we have and let people decide for themselves. It’s a straightforward way to run things. Being near a major hotel helps people find us, even if they aren't from this part of the city. We have a small kitchen area where we drink way too much tea during the day while we work.
