Swastik Granites

Our yard, Swastik Granites, is at 289 on the road near Laxmi Lime Works. We are right there between Chandlodiya Road and Gota Road. It’s an area where you see a lot of industrial things and building materials being moved around. Our place is full of granite slabs of all different sizes and colors. Working with granite is a bit of a tough job because the stone is so heavy and hard. We don’t have a flashy showroom or anything like that. It is just the stone and the space we need to move it around. Trucks come and go all day long, either bringing us new stock or picking up pieces that people have bought. Gota Road is always noisy with traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our time helping people find the right piece for whatever they are building at home. Sometimes it’s a bit of a search to find the exact slab someone saw before. It is honest work and the stone dust is just part of the life here. We have been at this location for a while and we know the area pretty well. Most people who come by are either living nearby or are contractors working on a project in the city. There’s just a few of us here making sure the yard stays in order. It’s a basic business.
