Sunrise Restaurant

You can find our restaurant right opposite the Kalupur Railway Station in Ahmedabad. It is a very frantic part of town because of all the travelers coming and going. We stay open for long hours because the trains do not stop for anyone. Our tables are often full of people with big suitcases who are waiting for their next ride. We keep the menu simple because most customers are in a hurry and just want something quick before their platform is called. The kitchen stays busy from before sunrise until very late at night. We make a lot of tea and serve basic meals that are easy to prep. The noise from the station is something we have just grown used to over the years. We spend a lot of time wiping down tables and mopping the floor because of all the foot traffic. It is not a place for a quiet dinner, it is more for people who need to eat and move on. The staff is used to the fast pace and the loud environment of 380002. Sometimes we have to share tables when it gets really crowded. We don't have any fancy decor, just some old posters on the walls and functional furniture. It is hard work being in such a busy location, but it keeps us on our feet all day. We just try to get the orders out as fast as the kitchen allows.
