You’ll find us at No. 407 in Dudhwali Pole, which is on the Old Sandesh Press Street in Gheekanta. If you know the old part of the city, you know how narrow the streets can be. It’s a maze sometimes, but we’ve lived and worked around here forever. The building is old and has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We deal with garments all day. There are piles of shirts and trousers everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a mess, but it’s a working mess. We spend our time packing orders or talking to the tailors who work nearby. The air in Gheekanta always smells like food and old buildings. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just us and our machines and the people we’ve known for years. Sometimes it gets really hot in the middle of the day, so we take a long break then. The street outside is always full of cycles and people carrying big bundles on their heads. It’s a busy, noisy life, but we wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves if it were quiet. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. If someone finds their way through the pole to our shop, we’re happy to help them out. That’s just how it goes here every day of the week.
