Our office is B-2 in the Mamta Complex. We are situated on the Sarkhej Sanand Road, which is always full of traffic. Being in Sarkhej means we are right in the middle of all the trade movement. We deal with ceramics and importing and exporting things at Sundaram Cera Impex Pvt. Ltd. The office is usually stacked with boxes and samples that have come from far away. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs to get to us. We have a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets for all the paperwork. Dealing with international stuff means we are often on the phone at odd hours or checking emails. It isn't a very large space, so we have to be organized. Outside, the road is constantly busy with trucks going towards Sanand. We can hear the horns all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic in the complex with all the different businesses, but we have our routine. We have been here for a while now, so the local tea seller knows exactly when to bring our afternoon cups. We don't do much in terms of fancy displays. Most of our work is done through samples and catalogs that we send out to people. It is a busy life, and we are usually tucked away behind our screens or checking the crates that just arrived. It is just a normal office where we get things done.
