Sukhsagar Restaurant

We are located in the Deepak Chamber on Station Road in Kalupur. It’s right across from the Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad. If you’ve ever been to the station, you know how hectic it is. There are people everywhere, taxis honking, and everyone is in a hurry to catch a train. We get a lot of those travelers coming in with their luggage. They’re usually tired and just want a quick bite before their journey or after they arrive. We keep the service fast for that reason. The restaurant isn't very big, so we have to use the space wisely. It’s a bit of a squeeze when people have big suitcases with them. We’ve been here in Kalupur for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the kitchen. We serve a mix of things, mostly snacks and meals that fill you up. It’s a loud area, so you can always hear the trains and the announcements from across the street. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us working the counters and the tables. Sometimes we stay open late if the trains are delayed. It’s a tough location because of the constant noise and the crowd, but we like being right in the middle of the action. It feels like the heart of the city. We’re just a simple station-side eatery doing our best every day.
