If you are driving near the Baroda Express Highway around the C. T. M. area, you will find us right across from it. Stone World Ahmedabad is situated in a very busy part of the city. The noise from the highway is something you just get used to after a few days of working here. We spend our time managing the different types of stone that come through. It is a big operation because of where we are located. There is always a truck backing in or someone pulling out onto the main road. The dust from the road and the stone settles on everything, so we are always dusting things off. It is a practical place. We have our stacks of stone and our space for loading. We see people from all over because the highway makes it easy to get to us. Ahmedabad is a fast-moving place, and being at this specific spot reflects that energy. We don't do much in the way of decoration in the office. It’s mostly just desks, phones, and samples of what is out in the yard. Most of us have been working with stone for years, so we know the weight and the feel of the slabs. We just show up, do the work, and deal with whatever the day brings. It is a straightforward business and we like it that way. We stay busy and keep the yard moving every single day.
