Soma Textiles & Industries Limited

You can find us at No. 2 Red Cross Place. This building has been here for a long time, and so have we. Soma Textiles & Industries Limited is run from this office. It’s a bit of a traditional setup. We have old wooden desks and lots of paper files everywhere. We don’t go for the modern look. We focus on the textile side of things, dealing with factories and production schedules. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing down numbers. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a showroom. It’s a working office. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea for the staff. The street outside is usually quiet compared to the main markets, which is nice. We’ve been through many changes in the industry over the years. We’ve seen technology change, but we still like to do things our own way. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. We just have people who have worked here for twenty years and know the business inside out. Sometimes the air conditioning makes a weird noise, but we just ignore it. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to make sure the production keeps moving and the orders get shipped out. It’s a steady pace here at Red Cross Place. We just keep our heads down and do the daily work that needs doing.
