The shop is located in the Kasturi Complex in Bodakdev, right across from the Shraddha Petrol Pump. If you are driving down Judges’ Bungalow Road, you can usually spot the sign easily enough. We spend most of our time here moving boxes around or showing people the different types of tiles we have on the shelves. It gets a bit dusty because of the ceramics, so we are always wiping things down. The office area in E 502 is where we keep the records and handle the phone calls. Ahmedabad can get really hot, so the afternoon shift is usually a bit slower. We have been in this spot for a while and most of the local contractors know where to find us. It’s not a huge showroom with bright lights, just a practical space where we store the stock. My desk is usually covered in samples and some old notebooks where I jot down measurements. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a while to navigate the traffic outside, which can be a bit frustrating. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the right boxes go to the right people. It is a lot of heavy lifting and checking lists. We don't do much fancy talk here. If someone needs something for their floor or bathroom, we just show them what’s available in the back. That is pretty much our whole day. We just stay busy and keep the shelves stocked for whoever comes in.
