Shrinath Fabrics

We are located at Shop No. 224 on the ground floor of the New Cloth Market in Sarangpur. It’s a historic area, right by the Out Site Gate and the Raipur Gate. Being on the ground floor is great because nobody has to climb any stairs, but it also means we get a lot of the dust and noise from the street. The market is always packed with people moving bundles of cloth on their heads or on little carts. Shrinath Fabrics is a busy little spot. We don't have much room for a fancy sitting area, so people usually just stand around the main counter while we show them the fabrics. The walls are lined with rolls of cloth from floor to ceiling. It smells like fresh cotton and old stone in here. We’ve been part of this market for a long time, and we’ve seen it change quite a bit over the years. The traffic outside the Raipur Gate is always a mess, so we tell everyone to come early if they want to avoid the worst of it. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here in the same spot for ages. Most of our day is spent measuring out lengths of fabric and talking to the regulars. It’s a lot of manual work, but we enjoy the bustle of the old city. It’s just how things are done here in Sarangpur.
