The stairs in Ashthavinayak Complex are narrow, so moving boxes to the 3rd floor at A-35 is always a chore. We are right on Bardolpura Road, and if you look out, you can see the Dariapur Gate area. It’s one of those parts of town that never really sleeps. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking down on the street. At Shreeji Garments, we mostly focus on getting the orders ready for the day. My hands are usually dusty from handling the fabrics and the plastic packing materials. We don’t have much room for a lounge or anything like that, so we just sit on the stools. It gets pretty warm in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. Sometimes the neighbors from the other units come in for a chat or to borrow some tape. We've been at this spot for a long time, and the building has aged a bit around us. There’s a lot of history in Dariapur, and you can feel it when you walk through the gate. We keep things simple here. No fancy decorations or big signs. Just a lot of work and some tea breaks in between. When the monsoon hits, the road outside gets messy, but we still make it in every day. It’s just how things are around Bardolpura Road for us. We just get on with it and try to stay organized amid all the busy chaos.
