Shreeji Ceramics (Rakhial)

We are located in Rakhial, right on National Highway No 8. The shop is opposite Rajdeep Park and near the Rajendra Park Char Rasta. It’s a very busy intersection so there is always a lot of traffic and honking. At Shreeji Ceramics, we have a lot of different bathroom fittings and tiles displayed. It’s not a fancy showroom but we have enough to show people. The highway location is good for getting deliveries in but it makes the front of the shop quite dirty from all the exhaust. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass so people can actually see inside. Usually, it is just me and a couple of others here. We talk to the local contractors and people from the neighborhood who are fixing up their houses. Rakhial is a tough area sometimes but we like it here. We’ve got the regular customers who come back whenever they need a replacement part. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s quiet, but that doesn't happen often because of the highway noise. We don't do any big advertising. People just see the sign when they are driving past the char rasta. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep the shelves full. Ceramics can be fragile so we have to be careful when moving things around the warehouse. It is just us doing our thing every day.
