Shree Umiya Tiles Factory

Our factory, Shree Umiya Tiles Factory, is at Door No. 75 within the Uday Industrial Estate. We are located in Adinath Nagar, which is in the Odhav area. If you find the Odhav Police Station, we are just about opposite from there. The industrial estate is a maze of buildings and small roads, and it can be quite a headache to navigate if you aren't used to it. There is always the sound of metal clanging or engines running somewhere nearby. Our unit is one of the older ones in this section. The floor is stained from years of work, and the roof leaks a little when it rains really hard. We have a small desk near the entrance where we take care of the visitors and sign the delivery papers. It is a very hands-on environment. Most days, you will find the owner right there on the floor with everyone else, getting his hands dirty. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If people want to see what we do, they just come into the back and look at the stacks. It’s a bit messy, but it’s an honest mess. We focus on getting the tiles out the door on time. The traffic in Odhav can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our transport sorted early in the morning. It’s just how we run things.
