Shree Sarvodaya Restaurant (Naranpura)

You will find us at Mahershi Avenue in Naranpura, Ahmedabad. We are situated right opposite the Ankur Bus Stand, at the Ankur Cross Roads. It’s a very busy intersection. Because of the bus stand, we get people from all over the city stopping by while they wait for their ride. The restaurant has been here for years. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning and soft music. It’s more of a place where you get your food and get on with your day. We have regular customers who have been coming since they were kids. Naranpura has changed a lot, but we are still here in the same spot. The traffic outside is always humming, and you can hear the bus conductors calling out. We don’t have any big slogans. We just work hard from morning till night. My staff knows most of the regulars by name. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure everything is ready for the lunch rush. It’s a simple business. We don’t try to be something we’re not. If you’re at Ankur Cross Roads and you’re hungry, we’re the place you see first. We just offer a place to sit and something to eat. It’s honest work and we like being part of the daily routine for people in this part of Ahmedabad. We keep the water ready and the kitchen busy.
