Shree Ramkrupa Traders

Our shop is number 6 in the Gangotri Park Society. It’s right in Nikol, across from Saraswati School. You can hear the kids playing during recess and the bells for the classes. It’s a lively spot. We are Shree Ramkrupa Traders. We deal in general trading goods. The shop is packed with boxes from the floor to the ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a warehouse feel where people come to pick up their orders. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood or nearby schools. We open up after the morning rush. My brother and I run the place. We don't have a big staff, just one guy who helps with the heavy lifting. We spend a lot of time checking invoices and talking to suppliers on the phone. The Diamond Park Road gets very busy in the evenings. We usually close up when the street lights come on. It’s a simple business. We don't use corporate talk or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just traders. If someone needs something, we try to get it for them. It’s about building trust with the local folks. We’ve been here for several years now and the society members all know us. It’s a comfortable routine. We like being part of the Nikol community and seeing the school year go by from our front door.
