Shree Krishna Fabric

We are over at 125 Aakar Complex in the Maninagar area. It’s pretty close to the Lake View Hotel and Daxini Society. The complex itself is a bit older, but it’s a good spot for us. We deal with fabrics mostly. The shop is filled with rolls of cloth stacked from the floor to almost the ceiling. Sometimes it feels like the walls are made of cotton and polyester. We spend a lot of time measuring out lengths for people who come in. It’s a lot of standing around and using the big wooden rulers. The windows look out toward the street, and we can see people heading toward the lake. Maninagar is a nice part of the city to work in. We have a small staff, just three of us, and we take turns going for lunch. The space is always a bit dusty from the fabric fibers, so we are always sweeping. We don’t really do any big marketing. Most of our business comes from people who have been coming to Aakar Complex for years. We just try to keep a good variety of stuff on the shelves. It’s a simple business. We keep track of everything in a big handwritten ledger. It might seem old-fashioned to some, but it works for us. We show up every morning at ten and stay until the sun goes down. It’s just what we do to keep things moving along.
