Shree Krishna Creation

Our place is on the first floor of Karnavati Plaza, room number 187. It's right in the middle of Revdi Bazar in Kalupur. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets. We are near Hariom Market, so there are always people moving bundles of cloth around and shouting to each other. It’s a very old part of town. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow and steep. Inside, we have our workspace where we handle all the creations. It’s mostly desks and piles of fabric everywhere. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We spend hours every day looking at samples and talking to the guys who bring us materials. The ceiling fans stay on all day because it gets stuffy with so many people in the plaza. We’ve been in Kalupur for years and wouldn't really want to be anywhere else, even with the parking problems. It’s a hub for this kind of work. We usually have a lot of coffee or tea while we work through the orders. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the quality of the stitching. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a working office where things actually get made. We just focus on getting the tasks done one by one. It's a lot of manual work and long hours, but we are used to it by now and like the market energy.
