Shree Jalaram Hotel

If you're looking for us, we are in Shop No 7 at the Madhav Complex, right on the Sardar Patel Ring Road in Odhav. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking, but we are just below Hotel Safari. The Ring Road is always humming with traffic, which means we see a lot of different people every day. We’ve got a small team here, just a few of us handling the orders and the cooking. The space isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we use it. We set up the tables so people can get in and out quickly if they’re on their lunch break. Most of our customers are workers from the nearby industrial areas or drivers who are passing through Ahmedabad. We don't have a lot of frills. The walls have a few calendars on them, and the fans stay on pretty much all day to keep the air moving. We focus on getting the food out fast while it’s still hot. I usually spend my time between the front counter and the kitchen, making sure we haven't run out of anything important. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we like being part of the neighborhood. It’s just a regular hotel-style eatery where you can sit down, eat your fill, and get back to your day without much trouble.
