Shree Ganesh Marble & Granite Industries. We are located right opposite the Parth Party Plot. It’s near the Bhuyangdev Cross Roads. You can’t miss the Jain Temple nearby; it’s a big landmark for us on Sola Road. Our yard is full of marble and granite slabs. It gets quite dusty with all the stone around. We move things around with the crane when needed. It’s noisy work. People coming from the temple sometimes stop and look at what we have. We don't mind. The cross roads are always packed with cars and scooters. It makes it tricky for the trucks to get in sometimes. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. The office is just a little cabin at the front. We have some tea there and talk to the customers. The slabs are heavy, so we have to be careful with every move. We use a lot of water to keep the dust down. Sola Road is a busy area, so there is always something happening outside. We watch the traffic and wait for our deliveries. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is out. We just keep at it. Some of the stone pieces are really large. We handle everything ourselves. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy from morning till late evening. We try to keep the pieces sorted by color so it's easier to find what we need when someone asks for a specific slab.
