Shree Ambika Restaurant

We've been at this spot on Danapith Road for quite some time now. Being right near the Indian Post office in Danapith means we see a lot of people coming and going all day. Ahmedabad is a busy place, and this part of town gets especially crowded with folks doing their daily errands. Our place, Shree Ambika Restaurant, is just a regular spot where people can sit down for a bit. We started this because we wanted a place in our neighborhood where you could get a meal without any fuss. It's nothing fancy here. The tables are basic and we keep things simple. Most of our regulars are people who work nearby or live just down the street. We open up early and stay busy until the evening. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the street traffic picks up, but that is just how it is around here. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure the kitchen is running okay. If you are walking down Danapith Road, you’ll find us easily enough. It is just a straightforward place to eat. We have seen the area change over the years, but we stay right here. It is a lot of work running a kitchen every day, but it keeps us busy. We just do what we do and hope folks find what they need when they stop in for a break.
