Shivkrupa Marble Stone Industries

Shivkrupa Marble Stone Industries is out on National Highway No 8 in Viratnagar. We are right opposite the Khodiyar Police Chowky and near the Shivshakti Motor Weigh Bridge. It’s an area where a lot of trucks stop, so it stays pretty noisy and active. We deal with all kinds of stones here. Our yard is a big open space where we keep the inventory. Moving these heavy stones is what we do all day. We use a lot of water for the cutting machines to keep the heat down and the dust under control, so the floor is usually a bit wet. It’s a tough job and it wears you out by the end of the day. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just the owner and a few workers who know their way around marble. We see a lot of contractors and builders who stop by on their way down the highway. We show them the different batches we have in stock. Sometimes the quality of the stone varies, so we spend time checking each piece. If something isn't good enough, we put it aside. We don't see the point in selling something that won't last. The sun gets really hot out here in Viratnagar, but we keep the gates open and keep working. It’s just how we’ve always done things at this location, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it.
