Shiva Cold Drinks

Our place, Shiva Cold Drinks, is situated right along National Highway-41. We’re out in Village Laxmipura, which is part of the Dholka Taluka region. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different people coming through, mostly truck drivers and travelers who are looking for something cold to drink to cut through the dust and heat of the road. It’s a very practical location. The building is sturdy and sits right where the village meets the main road. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of crates and the sound of the refrigeration units working away. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations because that’s not what people are looking for when they stop here. They just want a quick break. The wind blows a lot of dirt off the highway, so we spend a decent amount of time cleaning the front area. In the evenings, it gets a bit quieter when the long-haul traffic settles down, and we can finally catch our breath. We’ve been in Laxmipura for a long time, and we know the local farmers and the other shopkeepers around here pretty well. It’s not a complicated business. We just keep the stock full and make sure the place is open when the travelers start rolling by in the morning. It’s just a regular roadside stop doing what it’s always done for years. We stay busy enough with the passing traffic.
