Cafe Upper Crust

We are located in Arohi Complex, which is right at Vijay Cross Road in Navrangpura. If you’re looking for us, we’re directly opposite the Maharaja Palace. Navrangpura is always full of students and people working in the nearby offices, so there’s always something happening outside our door. Cafe Upper Crust has been around for a good bit now. We mostly handle cakes and snacks. The ovens in the back are usually running all day long, so the place often smells like bread and sugar. It’s a bit of a small shop, numbers 6 and 7 in the complex, so there isn't a ton of room to run around. We have a few tables where you can sit and have a quick bite. Most people just come in to pick up something to take home. We try to keep the display cases full, but some days we sell out of the popular items faster than we expect. The staff is just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We know the neighborhood well and we see the same faces every week. It gets quite loud during the evening rush because of the traffic at the crossroad. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the name on the glass. It’s a straightforward place where we focus on getting the baking right and making sure customers get what they asked for without any fuss or delay.
