Girish Coldrink

Girish Coldrink has been at Gopal Chowk for a good many years now. We are right near the Anand Shopping Centre on Bhairavnath Road. Maninagar gets really hot in the summer, so people are always looking for something cold to drink. We keep the refrigerators running all day. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a backup to keep the bottles chilled. It’s a small shop, not much room to sit, but most people just stand outside or take their drinks to go. We sell sodas, water, and some other bottled stuff. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us behind the counter handling the cash and opening bottles. The area is always noisy with traffic from the shopping center nearby. We see the same faces every day, mostly shopkeepers from around Bhairavnath Road who need a break. We don't do any big marketing. The sign outside is a bit faded but everyone knows where we are. Dealing with the distributors is the hardest part of the job, just making sure we have enough stock when the sun is out. It’s just a regular cold drink spot in a busy part of town. We open up early and stay open until the shops around us start closing their shutters for the night. There is nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just try to keep the drinks cold for the customers.
